Segue’s purpose is to bridge the gap for people to create a culture for connection while fostering an environment for lasting community. We need that, don’t we? People we can go to for anything, the ones we can do life with. Segue is the place to go to find your people. Show up. Be you. Meet someone new.


I grew up and went to college in Fort Smith. I had an amazing group of friends during my time there. Once I graduated college, I moved to Fayetteville for a job. Even though it was only an hour away from home, I needed to make friends in my new city. I’m the type of person who’s not afraid to go to places alone with the hopes of meeting new people. However, I realized that even though I was willing to put myself out there, it wasn’t working.


So, I had an idea. I wanted to gather a group of people with the sole purpose of making new friends.


My career would lead me to Iowa and eventually Kansas for the next two years where my small idea of getting people together evolved into a greater cause with a mission. It was there that Segue was born in 2019 and its mission flourished. Life brought me back home to Arkansas in 2020 and I carried this vision with me, relaunching Segue Fort Smith officially in January 2024.
